Dr. Fares Samra offers the latest in reconstructive breast surgery including DIEP flap breast reconstruction, lower extremity/thigh-based tissue transfer, advanced breast implant techniques, and fat grafting. Dr. Fares Samra is one of the select surgeons in the U.S. performing breast neurotization with Resensation, an advanced surgical technique designed to restore sensation after mastectomy. Dr. Samra also offers reconstructive procedures for trauma and cancer-related defects of the body as well as aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body including facelifts, rhinoplasty, breast lift and augmentation, tummy tuck, and a variety of body contouring procedure.

Dr. Suhail Kanchwala, Director of Reconstructive Microsurgery, Penn Plastic Surgery; Section Chief, Penn Plastic Surgery; Associate Professor of Surgery at the Pennsylvania Hospital.

Dr. Kanchwala specializes in breast reconstruction following mastectomy, using a patient’s own tissues. He has performed more than 3,000 microsurgical breast reconstruction procedures. Dr. Kanchwala’s research focuses on improving outcomes in breast reconstruction surgery. He has pioneered minimally invasive techniques that enhance both patient recovery and aesthetics. His goal is to eliminate the use of narcotic pain medication for patients undergoing breast reconstruction.

Dr. Tripp Holton, Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center

Dr. Tripp Holton is a board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He has extensive expertise in reconstructive microsurgery, including reconstruction of the head and neck, breast, and extremities. Dr. Holton focuses on breast and body contouring, as well as facial aesthetic surgery. He is also active in research in the areas of biomaterials and biotechnology. He graduated medical school from Temple University and then completed his general surgery residency at the University of Maryland. He completed his fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Rachel A Anolik, Assistant Professor of Surgery , Washington University in St. Louis

Dr. Anolik specializes in microsurgery, breast and oncologic reconstruction, and lymphatic surgery. Her research focuses on enhanced recovery protocols and patient-reported outcomes in breast reconstruction.
